The stars of Bomber's Moon: Girl's Beneath the Bombs

On May 25th, the wonderful men and women who starred in our Rocky Mountain PBS show, "Bomber's Moon: Girls Beneath the Bombs" gathered one more time to talk to the students of COLORADO SPRINGS EARLY COLLEGES. It was an incredible day of heartfelt questions and answers between the generations.

Kala and Sean...the most attentive they have looked all year!
Summer had the most important question of the day: "How did you deal with losing your friends or family in war." Silence....was their answer.
Allison Ashley talks to Howard Casey, 8th Air Force, B-24 ball turret gunner. Summer Malloy looks on.
Edi Kaufman from Linz, Austria (where Hitler grew up) shared a memory with Christina.
Summer Maloney talks to Silke after class. Howard Casey, B-24 ball turret gunner looks on.

Mrs. Spiers, joshing with Josh Shepherd, Cathrine and Margaret. Three of her favorite World History Students.

Shauna and Edi Kaufman of Linz, Austria talk after the presentation.
Muriel from England, Yoko from Japan, Silke from Germany: all women in Bomber's Moon and lived in those countries during WWII. A special and unique understanding exists between these wonderful women.
We gather for lunch and fun as a group, after a great time with the Colorado Springs Early Colleges presentation.
Mac McGinty (B-17 Tailgunner) Yoko from Yahata, Japan and Silke Sauppe from Lubeck, Germany chat after the presentation.
